spirituality & branding

is your job your calling?

The corporate world has become very secular, but what if you find your daily work is a calling from God? I recently listened to a podcast created by the Brand Builders Group, Rory and AJ Vaden, where they interviewed Ryan Blair, bestselling author and successful entrepreneur about the secrets to success. He talks about how to turn your job into your calling. According to Ryan, “Balancing faith with business is very hard because the business world has removed God from the conversation.”

developing your brand voice

can be difficult and a bit tricky. It's a fine balance in wanting to do all things for all people and creating a laser focus message for your clients. I have recently been focusing on perfecting my ideal client and creating my brand voice, aesthetic, dream client, etc. The hard part for a photographer is choosing what genres of photography to focus on because it's so fun to shoot everything! Weddings, hard work but a blast! Family photo shoots, maternity, newborn, events, branding, headshots, the list goes on and on! How do you define what you are to focus on? Who are you talking to to try to attract to our brand?
